Paddock20 Test Track · Sources and IP

Every source, and what we built on it.

Nothing here is hidden. Every figure on the Test Track comes from somewhere, and each source is named below with what it supplies and how it is credited. The tools and methods that turn those sources into these pages are Paddock20’s own, and they are named here too.

What Paddock20 built

The Test Track is where Paddock20 proves what it builds before anyone relies on it. These are the pieces of this case study, by the names we use for them.

NameWhat it isKind
Paddock20 Test TrackThis site: Paddock20's proving ground, where what we build is tested in the open. Case 01: The Model Y, one 2024 Model Y measured from invoices, telemetry and app screens.Product
Paddock20 TelemetrySeven tiles atop the landing, each three levels deep as bars, a line or a table, for any range on the record; billed rate leads and nothing exports.Feature
Paddock20 RecordA report card for every day, rolled up by week, month, quarter, season and year: jobs, miles, FSD (Supervised) share and money by channel.Feature
Paddock20 LedgerCost per mile from the charging invoices against the gas fleet the car replaced, plus its monthly bills, lot prices and warranty.Feature
Paddock20 Front DoorThree layers: the start screen, a short story with the income comparison, then the site itself.Feature
Paddock20 Income ComparisonNet dollars an hour after car cost and tax: example jobs with a commute, this car's delivery days, a target and Gridwise's 2025 pay.Feature
Paddock20 Your NumbersA calculator that prices this car's measured energy per mile at your electricity rate against the car you drive; the result is a link.Feature
Paddock20 Field NotesA page for every Sunday-to-Saturday week, built from the car's numbers, with an RSS feed.Feature
Paddock20 LegendThe key to the Record: kinds of day, how a figure is marked, the arithmetic, how each day is proved, route logic and what is never shown.Feature
Paddock20 Charge GuideEvery charger the car used: sessions, kWh, the best rate billed there, stalls, a rating and a tip.Feature
Paddock20 Cross-ChecksThe build stops unless the dashboard's figures equal those the site already prints, and the browser code mirrors the Python line for line.Method
Paddock20 Privacy GrainCharging is shown as weekly and per-charger totals, never a row per charge, and a week is split by charger only after it closes.Method
Paddock20 Rate Card TieringCalls a charge on-peak or off-peak only when its billed rate equals the owner's stated rate card, never by the clock.Method
Paddock20 Provenance LabelsEvery figure is marked measured (an invoice, sensor or app screen), modeled (worked out, and says how) or stated (the owner's word).Method
Paddock20 Charge Loss ReconciliationEach charging invoice's kWh set against the kWh that reached the pack; a charge the car's record covered under 85% of is held out.Method
Paddock20 Coverage AuditProves every day since delivery from the drives, day totals, the battery chain, the invoices and the odometer, or names it a gap.Method
Paddock20 CorridorsDrives shown only as city-to-city corridors from an allowlist of places, counted by trips; no coordinates, addresses or departure times.Method
Paddock20 Miles by PurposeSplits a delivery day's miles into those the apps counted, those driven in the apps' hours, those outside them, and not split.Method
Paddock20 Made With the CarIncome on lines where the car was in the work, plus any line a moment (work done during a drive) led to; the Record shows it as With the car.Method
Paddock20 Dated CorrectionsA published figure that later changes carries a dated correction on its day, and the build refuses an unexplained change.Method
Paddock20 Shift ReconciliationLabels a drive shift or charge only when an app leg or a battery rise proves it, and measures the miles the apps did not count.Method
Paddock20 Daily Record CSVThe daily rows the charts draw (miles, drives, kWh, charging spend, efficiency, idle loss), free to read and quote with credit; not licensed for reuse.Data
Paddock20 Start ScreenA DRIVE START STOP button and a gauge cluster that sweeps to the snapshot's cost per mile, with a synthesized wake-up sound.Design
Paddock20 Share CardsA 1200x630 card for every page that leads with the page's own figure; a hash in each card lets the gate fail a stale one.Design
Paddock20 GlassFloating glass panels on three elevations over a full-bleed plate with film grain, and chart hues checked for color-vision separation.Design
Paddock20 Wrap LiveriesSix wrap files for the car's Paint Shop, built on the maker's Model Y template, free to download on The Car.Design
